On Sunday, January 26, Billie Eilish took home 5 Grammys at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. She won four of the biggest awards in the show and broke multiple records, such as youngest solo performer to ever win album of the year.

According to Insider, “Billie Eilish was spotted mouthing “please don’t be me” before winning her fourth Grammy of the evening on Sunday.”

During Eilish‘s acceptance speech for “Best Album of the Year,“ she said that she thought Arianna Grande deserved the award for her album “Thank U, Next” instead of her.

According to CNN,“Eilish also became the first woman and second person ever to win record of the year, album of the year, song of the year and best new artist in the same year.“

The first person before her was Christopher Cross in 1981. Then Adele, who also won all four but it was over the course of three years.

Along with Eilish, her brother Finneas accepted the awards with her. He is also known for being her producer and a huge motivation in her life.

According to NY Times, ‘‘Finneas O’Connell, her brother, accepting with her for song of the year, noted that they record together in a bedroom in their family home. ‘This is to all the kids that are making music in their bedroom today,’ he said, holding the trophy. ‘You’re going to get one of these.’“

Eilish made history for the youngest person to win 5 awards in one show. As for her fans, many are excited to see what she will create this year.
