WHY????:  Teaches Biology, because in Med school she realized teaching is what she wanted to pursue

WHY?????: Teaches Spanish because she loves it and she was really good at Foreign Language in High School

WHY?: Is a Guidance Counselor because she enjoys working with kids and counseling

WHY???: This year, he is working as a full-time building sub, but he would like to teach Special Ed because that’s what he loves to do

WHY????: Teaches math because she loves math, and honestly thinks it’s beautiful how math builds this giant structure upon a few assumed truths

FAVORITE MOVIE: The BBC version of “Pride and Prejudice”

WHY????: Teaches math because she loves helping kids problem-solve and discover new things

BEFORE NORTHMONT: Taught college math for over 20 years; has also taught high school math from algebra to pre-calculus at Institute of Construction Technology, Ponitz Career Technology Center, Springfield, Stebbins, and Meadowdale

WHAT?: Teaches Principles of Engineering, Design 1 and 2, and Introduction to programing and computers.

BEFORE NORTHMONT: Taught at Meadowdale last year; spent two years subbing at Tipp City and Beavercreek, and two years as a preschool teacher in the Bethel School District

WHY????: Teaches languages arts because she loves reading and writing

FAVORITE MOVIES: “Cloud Atlas” and “Princess Bride”

COLLEGE: Attended Central State University, a historically black college in Wilberforce, OH on a vocal music scholarship and completed his masters at Antioch University

BEFORE NORTHMONT: Taught for 2 years at his alma mater, Trotwood-Madison

WHY????: Teaches Special Education because after college he was a substitute teacher for a few years and would go to different schools where they would always have him work in the Special Education rooms; he was also convinced by his high school wrestling coach, who was also an intervention specialist

WHY?????: Teaches English because she loves to read and to help people

WHYYYY?: Majored in middle school Math, Social Studies, and Special Education because he found them interesting and enjoyed helping students who struggle at times
