Six Thunderbolts Commit to Colleges

On Wednesday, February 8, six Northmont athletes committed and signed to various colleges.

The softball team sent seniors Kendall Benning and Amanda Rose to the next level.

Kendall Benning signed with Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan. Benning was First Team All-Conference last year.

Amanda Rose signed with Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. Rose was named First Team GWOC Central Division.

The football team is sending seniors Jonté Broski, Jalen Christian, Josh Perry, and Donovan Lightfoot to play at the collegiate level.

Jonté Broski signed with Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee. Jonté played Tight End this past year and was named First Team All-Conference.

Jalen Christian signed with Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio. Jalen played Linebacker and running back for Northmont this past year. He was Second Team All-GWOC Central.

Josh Perry also signed to Ohio Dominican University. Perry played Offensive Lineman and was named All-GWOC this past year.

Donovan Lightfoot signed to Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. Lightfoot, along with Perry, played Offensive Line.

A total of four football players and two softball players signed.
