Friday, September 1, the Northmont football team played it’s first game at home against Fairmont. They came into the game undefeated after their first game.

You could’ve told from the energy that day at school that it was game day. Friday 7th period the band came around the halls and played the Northmont fight song. At the stadium the crowd was there full and thunderous. Junior Justin Golson became so loud it was hard to hear the announcer at all.  After every play the stadium started rocking and and the fans were stomping the bleachers.

Sadly the game had to be cut short because of the weather, but the team finished the game Saturday morning and got the victory 24 to 21.
