The cast and crew of Northmont Drama Club’s newest production, “The Wedding Singer,” prepares as the show premieres this week. “The Wedding Singer” is a 1998 movie set in the 80s that revolves around Robbie Hart: The Wedding Singer. Throughout the film, Robbie goes on a crazy love adventure to find the love of his life, with some help by his friends (IMDB.com).

The show is double casted; this is where we have two people playing a main role but on different nights. The casts will alternate between the two casts as the show is performed each show date.

Opening night cast includes:

The show opens up with the opening night cast on Friday, February 8 at 7 pm and closing night cast makes their debut on Saturday, February 9 at 7 pm. Other show dates include:

  • Sunday, February 10 at 2 pm (opening night cast)
  • Thursday, February 14 at 7 pm (closing night cast)
  • Friday, February 15 at 7 pm (opening night cast)
  • Saturday, February 16 at 7 pm (closing night cast)

Doors will open 30 minutes prior to show time. Tickets are $5 for students and senior citizens and $10 for adults. People can get tickets at the door or online at northmontdramaclub.weebly.com.
