The Crimson Comet’s Pending Comeback
FLASH Movie in the woks
September 16, 2019
DC’s Flash, who has yet to get his own movie adaptation which was originally cast 2014, is said to be finally in the beginning stages of production and should be seen on the big screen soon. Although The Scarlet Speedster’s moving picture has been continually pushed back due to its directors backing out of the film, budget cuts and over activity in the studios, two Marvel directors have stepped up.
According to Looper, The movie was scheduled to be released in March of 2018, but never made the cut since there wasn’t yet a storyline laid out. Having no trailers or even a poster, many fans have become doubtful about this film’s authenticy. As well as not having a first look, it is unclear if any classic villains will make an appearance or if a “new villain” will make its debut. It is also rumored that this new movie adaptation will also feature the Justice League; that is yet another unconfirmed fact.
“We’re talking about sparking a whole new universe, it’s not just the DC Multiverse, it’s the speedster multiverse. And the speedsters are the ones who connect all the disparate pieces of it… all these different stories with different realities, different characters and different versions of characters. And the speedsters are the ones who move through it all,” says Ezra Miller, who was cast as the flash.
After the project was abandoned by its previous directors: Marvel overseers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have teamed up with writers Joby Harold and Dan Mazeau to make an attempt at the seemingly perplexing film. If all goes according to plan, the film will be released in 2021.
