The family of Ezra Blount rejects Travis Scott’s offer to try and pay for their child’s funeral. The father and son were at the Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival and once Travis took the stage the father, Treston Blount, and his son, Ezra, were trampled and it left Treston unconscious. On November 10, 2021, Ezra passed away due to the injuries sustained at the Travis Scott concert.“The following day, his family received a letter from Scott’s lawyer, Daniel Petrocelli, sending his grieves for the families whose loved ones died or were injured. Travis is committed to doing his part to help the families who have suffered and begin the long process of healing in the Houston community, according to Rolling Stone.

Travis Scott sent a note to the Blount’s family saying “Toward that end, Travis would like to pay for the funeral expenses for Mr. Blount’s son.” Your client’s offer is declined. I have no doubt Mr. Scott feels remorse,” the Blount family lawyer, Bob Hilliard, wrote in response. Rolling Stone.
