The Emmy’s Happened Recently: Here are the Nominees and Winners

The Emmy awards ceremony was held on September 12, 2022. Here is a list of all nominees and winners for each category. The 74th Emmy Awards were held at Microsoft Theater in LA. Kenan Thompson hosted the ceremony and the ceremony was largely held in person and still reminiscent of pre-pandemic awards shows. “Succession”, “The White Lotus”, and “Ted Lasso” swept the Emmys.
Without further ado, here are all the nominees and winners of the 74th Emmys:
The nominees for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series were Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso), Donald Glover (Atlanta), Bill Hader (Barry), Nicholas Hoult (The Great), Steve Martin (Only Murders in the Building), and Martain Short (Only Muders in the Building). The award went to Jason Sudeikis for Ted Lasso.
The nominees for Outstanding Comedy Series were Ted Lasso, Abbot Elementary, Barry, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Hacks, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Only Murders in the Building, and What We Do in the Shadows. The award went to Ted Lasso.
The nominees for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie were Micheal Keaton (Dopesick), Colin Firth (The Staircase), Andrew Garfield (Under the Banner of Heaven), Oscar Isacc (Scenes from a Marriage), Himesh Patel (Station Eleven), and Sebastian Stan (Pam and Tommy). The award went to Micheal Keaton for Dopesick.
The nominees for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie were Amanda Seyfried (The Dropout), Julia (Inventing Anna), Toni Collete (The Staircase), Lily James (Pam and Tommy), Sarah Paulson (Impeachment: American Crime Story) and Margaret Qualley (MAID). The award went to Amanda Seyfried for The Dropout.
The nominees for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series were The White Lotus, Dopesick, The Dropout, Inventing Anna, and Pam and Tommy. The award went to The White Lotus.
The nominees for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama were Zendaya (Euphoria), Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Laura Linney (Ozark), Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets), Sandra Oh (Killing Eve), and Reese Witherspoon (The Morning Show). The award went to Zendaya for Euphoria, becoming the youngest actress to win two Emmys.
The nominees for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series were Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game), Jason Bateman (Ozark), Brian Cox (Succession), Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), Adam Scott (Severance), and Jeremy Strong (Succession). The award went to Lee Jung-jae for Squid Games, becoming the first Asian person to win the award.
The nominees for Outstanding Drama Series were Succession, Better Call Saul, Euphoria, Ozark, Severance, Squid Game, Stranger Things, and Yellowjackets. The award went to Succession.
The nominees for Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series were Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso), Anthony Carrigan (Barry), Toheeb Jimoh (Ted Lasso), Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso), Tony Shalhoub (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Tyler James Williams (Abbot Elementary), Henry Winkler (Barry), and Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live). The nominees for Outstanding Competition Program were Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, The Amazing Race, Nailed It, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Top Chef, and The Voice. The award went to Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.
The nominees for Structured Reality Program were Queer Eye, Antiques Roadshow, Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, Love is Blind, and Shark Tank. The award went to Queer Eye.
