FIFA 23 is a video game made by EA sports, released on September 27, 2022. The video game is about the world famous sport, football or as Americans say it soccer. The game is very diverse with 30 different leagues and hundreds of clubs from all over the world. FIFA 23 can be played across all platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X, etc. However the Hypermotion 2 feature is only available on the newer platforms such as the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. FIFA 23 has many different game modes like career mode where you can create a player and play as them and grow them to become a star in football. You can choose career paths and train to become the best with this game mode. There is also the Ultimate Team where you can build your dream squad by opening packs and/or completing objectives to earn players from all over the world. You can then face other players and earn rewards or play against an A.I. There are many more game modes within the game as well that are fun and exciting but also depending on your preferences can be challenging. 

          The game in my opinion is great, however of course there are some flaws. Some of these flaws include the dribble technology within the game. Unlike EA’s previous FIFA games the dribbling seems to feel heavy and slow. That’s a big change in the modern game with people wanting to be able to dribble past defenders and score wonderful goals, now it seems that their new feature “Power Shots” is the best way to score goals. The direction and where the ball will end up is sometimes very unpredictable with the “Power Shot”. But most of the time if you aim your shots correctly it’ll hit the back of the net. EA have just released their new FIFA World Cup update which includes a lot of new features such as new objectives to complete for rewards, new game modes, and new player variations to add to your team. In my opinion I think it’s a great thing, they’ve done a World Cup update in one of their past games and I think bringing it back was a good idea. In all I’d rate the game for now a 8/10 mostly because it just came out this year but it also has some downs within the game as well.
