On May 1, 2023, at 10:15 AM,  Yahoo!news.com released an article that students at a public school in Texas have allegedly jumped their assistant principal at Westfield High School in Spring Texas. A teacher at Westfield High School had reported that he saw three or four students jump in on her, and started plummeting her to the ground, kicking her repeatedly, and pulling her hair. She was known to be a lovely person to the students around her and one of the best administrators that they had at Westfield High School. She was attacked at Westfield’s High 9th-grade center, which is located 20 miles north of Houston.

The family of the assistant principal also reported that straight after the incident she was rushed to the hospital, unable to speak. The father of the victim said that they are unsure how long she will be in the hospital, as she is suffering severe head pain from the attack.

The school had announced to all the students the went to Westfield High that they have been an incident between a staff member and multiple students at the Westfield High School 9th grade center. The school administration was able to intervene in the fight and stop the fight very quickly when it started. A staff member that did intervene was sent to the hospital for a quick treatment and was sent home the same evening.

School districts around the area of Westfield High are beginning to see how dangerous it is for teachers to be in the school.
