Aaron Rodgers had his debut for the New York Jets this season. His debut was hyped up by the Jets as one you won’t want to miss, so when Rodgers got carted off the field after only 4 snaps of the ball, fans were hugely disappointed. The Jets would later state that Rodgers had suffered an Achilles tear and would now be out for the season.

During the game on Monday, September 11, the New York Jets faced a very strong Buffalo Bills. The Bills started off with the lead after a completed field goal. The Jets then made their own field goal to tie the game 3-3. That didn’t last long though, as the Bills then scored a touchdown throw by Josh Allen. The Bills made the extra point to put them in the lead 10-3.
Into the second half of the game the Jets scored another field goal putting them closer to the Bills 10-6. Those were the only points scored that quarter.
In the fourth quarter the Jets secured a touchdown and extra point putting the game in a tie. The Jets made a field goal yet again making 13-16 but that wouldn’t last long as the Bills would score another field goal tying the game again and sending the game into overtime.
In overtime the Jets made an amazing reception from a punt to score a touchdown and win the game.
