The final results were confirmed early in the morning around 7:00 am, after Trumps surpassed 270 electoral votes to win. Trumps win was secured by strong performances and policies. Trump also secured key battle grounds states in fighting a hard contest against Kamala Harris.

Despite Kamala Harris winning major states like California and New York, Donald Trumps campaign worked more in favor for swing states. Key battle ground states such as Florida and Georgia tipped in Trumps favors towards the end which helped in have a great lead against Kamala Harris. Many news outlets have reported Trump’s win in his strong performance in three battle-ground states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Trumps victory in this election makes a historical milestone. After losing to president Joe Biden in 2020, many people predicted him running again this election would be an easy win.

Most voters main reasoning for voting for him was his policies for economic restoration, and national security, and strict immigration policies. Trumps immigration policy was the major winning point on his win. After many interviews outside of voting stations, trump voters have collectively said immigration was a one of their major reasoning for voting for him.
