Search crews in Alaska have located the Wreckage of the Cessna Plane operated by Bering Air that went missing Thursday February 6th afternoon with 10 people on board. Crews found the plane Friday February 7th.
According to Alaskan State Troopers they were first contacted about the missing plane at 4pm by the Alaskan Rescue Coordination about an overdue aircraft. Bering Air Director of Operations David Olson said that the plane departed Unalakleet 2:37 for Nome.

The plane last transmitted information at 3:16pm according to FlightRadar.
Alaska State Troopers have identified the victims as:
- 34-year-old Chad Antill of Nome (Pilot)
- 52-year-old Liane Ryan of Wasilla
- 48-year-old Carol Mooers of Unalakleet
- 58-year-old Donnell Erickson of Nome
- 34-year-old Talauk Katchatag of Unalakleet
- 30-year-old Andrew Gonzalez of Wasilla
- 45-year-old Ian Hofmann of Anchorage
- 41-year-old Kameron Hartvigson of Anchorage
- 46-year-old Rhone Baumgartner of Anchorage
- 52-year-old Jadee Moncur of Eagle River
The victims were transported to Nome for identification and will now be taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Anchorage for autopsies.Investigators are still working to determine the reason for the crash.
This is the third major airplane accident in eight days after the American Eagle flight crashed in Washington D.C. and a medical transport plane crashed in Philadelphia.
