On Thursday, September 14, students will have the chance to see staff members race on tricycles at the Northmont-Butler home football game.

The money raised from this fundraiser goes to the YMCA’s Livestrong program. This program supports people affected by cancer and Parkinson’s disease.

From September 11-14, orange buckets in the cafeteria were used to collect donations. The buckets had the names of the following teachers: Mr. Collin Abels, Ms. Corrinne Sullivan, Mr. Ranger Puterbaugh, Ms. Stephanie Walter, Ms. Rebecca Henderson, Senior Chief James Griffin, Mr. Christopher Zink, Mr. Jake Whetstone, Mr. Chad Kaltenbach, Ms. Teresa Dillon, Mr. Eric Hughes, and Dr. Jason Inkrott.

The six staff members with the most money in their orange buckets were: Griffin, Inkrott, Henderson, Abels, Puterbaugh, and Whetstone.

These staff members will compete in a tricycle race at half time of the Thursday Night Lights event.
