For Northmont students, homecoming is one of the most exciting times of the school year. With spirit week, the parade, homecoming game, and the dance itself, there is much to look forward to. Preparing for homecoming can be stressful, but it can be worth it in the end.

When it comes to what students wear to the dance, some are more conscious than others. Junior Hunter Osborne does not worry too much about homecoming fashion, but said he does enjoy dressing up. Typically, students look best in anything that represents their true style and is comfortable to them. “A great homecoming outfit is something that you just enjoy wearing,” said junior Te’Aylis Jackson.

Some students also enjoy the process of getting ready for the dance. “My favorite part of homecoming preparation is probably doing my makeup,” said senior Serena Roman. Homecoming week can be hectic, but Northmont students know how to make it work.

All of the preparation is worth it in the end, and homecoming proves every year to be a good time for students to spend with their friends. “I’m most looking forward to seeing my friends,” said freshman Robbie Burke. For junior Te’Aylis Jackson, having fun with her friends is what she’s most looking forward to.
