An alleged shopping cart killer has been caught! Anthony Robinson from New York has been convicted on two murder charges and police are trying to connect Anthony Robinson to three more murders with the same pattern, according to CNN.

“Speaking at Friday’s news conference, Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis said that DNA evidence has confirmed the identity of two other women believed to be Robinson’s victims due to the shopping cart located by the women’s bodies” reported CNN. “On November 30, the Metropolitan Police Department contacted Harrisonburg police after they determined Robinson could be the last person to have contact with Cheyenne Brown, a missing person from Washington, DC,” Warner said.

Authorities had determined Robinson was communicating with Brown through a dating website right before her disappearance. reported from CNN” Anthony Robinson was arrested Friday, January 7 for the killings of Cheyenne Brown, 29, of Washington, DC, and Stephanie Harrison, 48, of Redding, California. Police identified the victims as Elizabeth Redmon, 54, of Harrisonburg, and Tonita Lorice Smith, 39, of Charlottesville.” reported CNN. That deceased woman in a shopping cart was covered only with a blanket. Investigators believe Robinson met his victims on dating websites and allegedly lured them into motels where he killed them and transported their bodies in shopping carts. As reported by Fox5 “We believe this may be Anthony Eugene Robinson’s fifth victim,” O’Carroll said. “He added that digital evidence places Robinson in the same vicinity around the time of the victim’s disappearance.” reported by CNN

Mr.Robinson is in prison only for the first two murders due to footage of him being there and they are trying to convict him on the other murder but police are looking for solid leads and other people who were contacted with him when the murders occurred.
