- Dozens of guns, chains, clubs, and other weapons were found in the possession of the suspects.
- Police expected there would be trouble and pre-positioned officers near the Twin Peaks restaurant, where the shootout took place.
- Nine people were killed and there were upwards of eighteen injuries.
- Police have claimed that Twin Peaks has not been very helpful in dealing with gang activity at its doorstep in the past.
- One officer, who has been on the job for 35 years, said it was the most gruesome crime scene he’s ever seen.
- Twin Peaks has released a statement claiming it is evaluating the circumstances of the shooting.
- Of the nine people killed at the scene, none of them were employees, bystanders, or police officers.
