The most recent emphasis in Education the past three years has been an attempt at quantifying “Student Growth”. Although, I am not a Language Arts Teacher and no where close to a Journalist; this article shows tremendous growth! Not just academically but more importantly demonstrates both social and personal growth. The ability to comprehend that light militancy causes resistance and that flexible diplomacy requires conversation free of fear and ignorance demonstrates a deep understanding of diversity, conflict, and resolution. However, I am not talking about the Author’s Growth but my own personal growth from going on this journey as well. I am a better administrator, educator, and more importantly, a better human being for having the pleasure of “disciplining” one of Northmont’s Best! Thank you for educating me Ms. Montgomery. Now please remove your head covering….Rules are Rules you know!

This is one of the best article I have read in a while, well written.
