Senior varsity football player Avery Miliner finished his season with not only a victory on the field, but a victory in the books. Miliner is now the tenth person in Northmont history to rush over 1000 yards in a season. He also tied the scoring record by scoring five touchdowns in a single game.

Going into the season, Miliner didn’t expect to receive these honors.

“No [I didn’t expect this]. I even had a lot of people doubting I’d break 1000 yards,” said Miliner.

Miliner’s performance this season satisfied him.

“I’m glad I ended my last year as a Northmont football player the way I did,” said Miliner.

Miliner credits his success this year to many people, and his dog, Coffee.

While Miliner is unsure of what school he’ll be attending next fall, he plans to continue his football career.
