The Wright State strike, which began on Tuesday, Jan. 22, has school leaders in fear of a decrease in enrollment.

According to Dayton Daily News, “The union’s decision to put WSU on notice for a strike came after the board on Friday voted unanimously to implement its “last, best offer” on terms and conditions of employment to the school’s faculty union.”

This new term puts union members into a single university-wide healthcare plan, and faculty members have not been pleased with the news.
