Three Men Rob a Local Englewood Verizon Store

On Saturday, Nov 8., the Englewood Police Department responded to the South Main Street Verizon store being robbed. Two males with their faces covered went into the store with handguns around 7:45 p.m. The men ordered the employee to empty the store’s safe of products and cash while they held the employee at gunpoint.

The Englewood Police Department indicates that the two suspects ordered the employee to empty the stores safe of products and cash They fled in the vehicle that was waiting for them, driven by a third suspect. The two men exited the store in only 2 minutes of being in the store and no injuries occurred.  The subjects were detained by the Dayton police and Englewood detectives have been involved in the investigation since the detention.  According to WHIO.

The three suspects were identified as 20 year old Lamonte Hancock Jr, 19 year old Demond Harris Jr and 21 year old Dellvon Bell. Harris was charged with aggravated robbery, carrying a concealed weapon , improper handling of firearm in a motor vehicle, and having weapons while under disability. Bell was charged with aggravated robbery , carrying a concealed weapon , and improper handling of firearm in a motor vehicle.

Both Harris and Bell have a $500,000 bond and Hancock has a $250,000 bond. All three men are booked in the Montgomery County Jail.
