It’s most definitely winter and a popular trend for the cold winter months is dyeing your hair darker. Why not be different and dye your hair lighter? It’s always fun to switch up your hair, and changing the color is not as serious of a commitment as changing the style. This easy way to dye your hair has no chemicals, so it doesn’t do the damage that chemicals do. And you can do it yourself!

You are going to need any kind of conditioner, all-natural honey, cinnamon, a standard-sized spoon, a small bowl, bobby pins, and a shower cap.

First, pour the conditioner into the small bowl. Then, pour four spoonfuls of honey into the bowl. Next, add in a spoonful of cinnamon, then mix everything together. Stir until it is evenly mixed.

When everything is mixed together, take your hair and make three sections one on the top of your head, one in the middle of your head, and one at the bottom. Put each of these into a bun and secure with bobby pins. When your hair is sectioned off take out the top one and start running the mixture through your hair. Your hair needs to be soaked with the mixture. That way you can make sure all your hair is getting the highlights. When you’re done with the top section tie it back into a bun and continue until you’ve coated each section of your hair with the mixture. When you’re done with your hair, put a shower cap and then towel over it. You have to wait for two hours and then you can wash it out.

The next morning, you should notice that your hair is a little lighter. If you keep doing this you can continue to make your hair lighter and it’s so easy!
