“Bob Saget, the comedian and actor arguably known best by audiences as wholesome patriarch Danny Tanner on the sitcom “Full House,” has died,” his family confirmed in a statement to CNN.

Born on May 17, 1956, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Robert Lane Saget died on January 9, 2022. “He was found dead lying face up on his bed in a luxury hotel room in Florida with no evidence of trauma, drug use or violence.” according to a sheriff’s office report released on Monday. ABC News states, “There were no signs of foul play, and the room itself was in order, ‘with items owned by Mr. Saget on the nightstand, television stand, closet and bathroom,’ according to the report from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.”

Saget made an appearance in over 90 movies, shows, performances, and comedies. Touching the hearts of many families, he is most commonly known for playing the role of Danny Tanner on ABC’s sitcom, Full house.

Saget was on a comedic tour in Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, Florida. That night, he went to the hotel after his performance and posted, “Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this s–t.”
