Northmont High School is known all throughout the Miami Valley for its incredibly talented arts programs, but a few names that are brought up the most are the A Cappella programs Catalyst, Impulse, Boyz II Doodz, and Wired.

These programs and their students spend incredible amounts of time, hard work, and dedication. Led by their instructors Ryan Chatterton and DeAnna Ullery, the groups manage to not only perform their song, but also choreograph and dance to many of their songs. Catalyst and Impulse are so talented that they are able to record albums with their songs and release them under the name Northmont A Cappella on all music streaming platforms.
Initially, the groups started with just Catalyst, and grew from there into 3 other groups for a total of 4 groups. Their debut album, Start Something, consists of 7 songs with a wide amount of soloists. Ryan Chatterton, the director for the program, also mixes and controls the sound and audio systems for every concert. He carefully makes it so that each group looks incredible during their moments onstage with bright lights and special effects.
Their performance will be on May 2nd at 7 PM in the Northmont Community Auditorium and will start with Wired, their middle school group, and then transition to Boyz II Doodz, their all male group, then to Impulse, and then to Catalyst. Each group will be singing songs that are incredibly popular with no intermission in between groups. There will also be a small segment to recognize the seniors in each group.
