After 30+ years,  Donald Trump has decided to resume Nuclear weapon testing. This is a very concerning action that has been made. Especially since Trump is moving quickly. ““That process will begin immediately,” the president wrote on social media”(Atwood Oct. 30 2025).

Nuclear weapon testing isn’t something that should really be messed with. So for the President to make that decision is interesting.  “The directive took even many of Trump’s advisers off guard”(Liptak Oct. 30 2025). Many people were caught off guard due to the fact it was something nobody expected, since it’s been over 30 years since Nuclear weapon testing.

There can be a plethora of different issues with the testing as well. “ If Trump truly wants to resume nuclear weapons testing, analysts say the complications are deep and wide”(Foreman Oct. 31 2025). Deep and wide are the last words anyone wants to hear involving anything nuclear.

The only thing that Americans and anybody that will be affected by the Nuclear testing is to hope the President and Government do it safely and carefully so nobody gets hurt and to also hope no world war breaks out because of the testing. Overall, the Nuclear weapon testing is a big concern for the U.S and the world. But if the President does everything correctly there should be no concerns.
