On November 20th 2025, The Houston Texans upset the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night football. This Texans victory was very much unexpected to all viewers and fans across the world. The Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was not having the best performance and “he was sacked a career-high eight times and hit four other times”(Guardian Nov. 20th 2025).
The Houston Texans defense definitely showed up against the Buffalo Bills offense. A big reason for the Bills struggles on offense is because of the absence of Keon Coleman, their star receiver “after he was again a healthy scratch after he was late to a team meeting before their last game”(Guardian Nov. 20th 2025).
This loss has shaken up Bills playoff hopes. “The Texans have now beaten the Bills for the second year in a row, and pulled it off with backup quarterback Davis Mills under center”(Thompson Nov. 20th 2025). Davis Mills has been performing well for the Texans after they lost their starting quarterback CJ Stroud. He is now 3-0 with this Texans team. Overall the Buffalo Bills being upsetted by the Houston Texans gave big and reasonable concerns about their team and organization for future games and even their playoff contention.
