On Monday night RAW Je’Von Evans suffered an injury during the match that is seemingly in his shoulder. It is unknown what exactly occurred during the match as the injury happened during commercial break and when returned Michal Cole, a ringside announcer, said that Evans was being checked out and soon after that Jessika Carr, the referee, called the match.
According to USA Today, “Evans was taken backstage with the assistant of the ringside doctor and referee Jessika Carr”(Mendoza, Jan 19). After being taken backstage Je’Von was medically cleared which indicates that the injury was not serious.

The Injury happened during Je’Von’s match with El Grande Americano. It was the final match of Americano’s crew, Rayo and Bravo, who he had faced in his prior matches. It is unknown whether the injury is a part of a plot line or is real. If it is a part of a story then it could lead to rising tensions between Americano and Evans.
Je’Von signed and moved up to RAW recently on January 5th with his first match, being against Bravo Americano, happening on the 12th. Prior to Evan’s time on RAW he was a star on NXT from 2023 until his signing.
