Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs also known as ‘P Diddy’ (54) was arrested on Monday, September 16th in Manhattan and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs had his court hearing on Tuesday, September 17th, where he pled not guilty.
According to NBC, “Combs was sent to jail without bail until the trial begins” (Sept. 17). On March, 25th Homeland Security agents raided Combs’ properties in Los Angles and Miami where, “Three sources familiar with the matter told NBC News that firearms were found at his residences, but no additional details were provided. (Griffith, Sept. 17th).
According to NBC. While the raids were happening, Combs was on his way to a scheduled trip at the Bahamas but was stopped at the Miami airport prior to his departure. There, officials seized his cell phones. Aron Dryer, one of Combs’ lawyers, issued a statement after the raids and said that Combs “was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities.” Brenden Paul, 25, was arrested at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. A law enforcement source familiar with the situation conformed that Paul is a Combs associate. It is currently unclear whether the arrest was related to the raids. Paul was an employee of “Combs’ n Jones’ suit” which describes him as gathering and distributing drugs and guns for Combs.
, andAccording to NBC “Combs allegedly required Paul and others he paid to carry black pouches that contained drugs such as ecstasy, cocaine, ketamine, marijuana and mushrooms.” A Miami-Dade police report shows that Paul was arrested for possession of marajuana candy and suspected cocaine. Court records show he was bonded out of custody the next day. The report said the contraband was found in his travel bags.
