
Ashlen Simpson is already making a name for herself at Northmont High School. As a freshman starter on the Northmont varsity basketball team, Simpson has stepped into a major role while continuing to excel in the classroom with a high GPA of 4.0.
Earning a starting position as a freshman is no small achievement, but Simpson’s work ethic and confidence have helped her adjust quickly to the varsity level. Competing against upperclassmen has challenged her to elevate her game, and she has embraced the opportunity. “Playing at this level pushes me every day,” Simpson said. “It makes me want to be better for my team.”
